Rehab Technology was proud to exhibit at the APASC25 Conference in Adelaide, the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s flagship event, bringing together clinicians, researchers, educators, and innovators shaping the future of physiotherapy in Australia.
For three action-packed days, our team joined over a thousand delegates exploring the latest trends and breakthroughs in rehabilitation science and clinical technology. The energy, curiosity, and passion for innovation were truly inspiring.
Defying Gravity: The Star of Our Stand
At the heart of our exhibit was the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill, the world-leading rehabilitation and performance tool trusted by hospitals, sports clubs, and clinics across Australia.
Using NASA-inspired Differential Air Pressure (DAP) technology, the AlterG allows patients to walk or run with up to 80% of their body weight reduced, making early mobility, safer rehab, and faster return-to-play possible.
Throughout the conference, clinicians experienced firsthand how AlterG helps:
- Restore movement confidence post-injury or surgery
- Reduce impact and joint loading during recovery
- Enhance performance and endurance training
- Support neurological and aged-care rehabilitation
Many attendees took the opportunity to step inside the treadmill and feel the lift for themselves - a highlight moment that always draws a crowd.

Meaningful Conversations with Clinicians
Across the three days, our team connected with hundreds of physiotherapists, hospital managers, and researchers from around the country. These conversations went beyond technology - they were about outcomes, accessibility, and how innovation can change what’s possible in rehab care.
We loved hearing how clinics are integrating AlterG into programs for ACL recovery, stroke rehabilitation, gait training, and athletic performance, and we were thrilled to share the growing success stories from Australian practices already using the technology.

Why Events Like APASC Matter
Exhibiting at APASC25 reaffirmed why Rehab Technology continues to invest in industry events like this. It’s about being part of the professional conversation, showing what’s new, learning from leading clinicians, and helping shape the future of rehabilitation care in Australia.
It also allows our team to gather valuable feedback directly from practitioners, insights that drive how we evolve our support, training and service models for clinics, facilities and hospitals nationwide.

Thank You
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, tried the AlterG, shared stories, or simply said hello. Your enthusiasm fuels what we do.
