Description

The Hocoma Andago V2 is a dynamic, mobile body-weight support system designed to enable safe, overground gait training for patients with moderate to severe walking impairments. Bridging the gap between treadmill-based therapy and real-world mobility, the Andago V2 allows patients to walk freely across open spaces while maintaining postural support and safety through a robotic harness system.

Unlike traditional gait training methods, the Andago V2 actively follows the patient’s movement, providing intelligent support without the constraints of a fixed track. Its sensor-based navigation enables natural, self-directed walking in various directions, including turns and stops, promoting functional gait patterns and boosting patient confidence. Real-time feedback and built-in assessments give therapists clear insights into each session, optimising outcomes and efficiency.

As part of Hocoma’s advanced rehabilitation solutions, the Andago V2 is ideal for use in the critical transition phase between supported and independent walking. It enables higher therapy intensity, encourages active participation, and supports early mobilisation—making it a powerful tool in neurorehabilitation and post-surgical recovery.
