The WaterRower Classic rowing machine with S4 Performance Monitor is constructed from solid walnut wood, finished with Danish oil. An evolution of the original WaterRower, ergonomically designed and handcrafted in New England using manufacturing techniques refined over three decades.
Each machine has been hand finished with Danish Oil and Urethane for protection. Wood has been chosen due to its marvellous engineering properties, primary amongst these is its ability to absorb sound and vibration enhancing the WaterRower’s quietness and smoothness of use. Classic Walnut, like all woods used in WaterRower construction, is a premium hardwood with incredible longevity and dimensional stability. WaterRower is committed to the environment and only source wood harvested from sustainably managed forests where growth exceeds removal by 229%.
As with all WaterRowers, Original Series rowing machines feature the unique WaterFlywheel, peerless in its simulation of on the water rowing. Available in a range of sustainably sourced hardwoods to suit your style, including Oak, Cherry and Walnut. The Original Series WaterRower is designed to blend seamlessly into a residential setting, allowing you to exercise in any room of the house.
